The most exciting way to explore the Lake Fertő region is undoubtedly by bike. The pension lies right next to the Lake Fertő cycle path, and the nearest Austrian border is just 3 km away by bike.
Whether you're after the full lake loop or a leisurely afternoon ride, every route starts comfortably from here – and in the evening you can return to the same place to rest.
Sportier guests can take on the full lake loop on both the Hungarian and Austrian sides. If you'd prefer a shorter ride, you can use the Drescher Line ferries between Mörbisch and Illmitz every half hour, cutting across the lake to shorten the distance.

A bike tour to Rust, the town of storks, is the perfect afternoon programme. Austria's smallest town is a real gem, just 15 km from our pension.
